A whole new world

Being the mother of boys there are some things that I will experience and some things that I most likely will never experience.  For the most part I am okay with this, even though the beautiful blessing dress that we bought the first time we went to Belgium (before we had children) is still new in the fun wrapping all stores package a customer's purchases in over there.  Sigh.

Yesterday was one of the new things that I will get to experience...a lot of!

The wonderful world of Scouting!

I made the trip into Portland to the Scouting offices/store and bought all of the necessary things needed for G to start.  I was shocked when my bill came out to just under $75.00!  It was worth it when he was all dressed and ready to go.

He had a great time.  I'm sure it helps that he has two amazing dads as his leaders!  We're excited to start down this new road!!  Love you G!
