Summer FHE at and in salmon creek. The boys loved throwing rock and discovering whatever might be hiding underneath them!

While I was in charge of the little one. So sweet.

Other than play, we decided to redo both our upstairs bathrooms. Here are a few demo pictures from the master bath.
And this is where it was all kept until being hauled away!
We think the finished product was worth all the work. My dad did all the beautiful tile work, and the electrical, and some plumbing, and... We are so grateful for all his hard work and loved having him in our home through the summer! We're thinking of our next project for him!!
The summer ended too soon but our oldest thought that was okay. He's a big Kindergartener at our neighborhood school and gets to ride the bus even though it's a quick 5 minute walk!
Halloween came next and we had a blast as a family!! The biggest Lowe man decided to be an 80s rocker, I found a 'good witch' wig and fake eyelashes, our oldest son was a Clone trooper, middle boy was Darth Vader, and our littlest was a pumpkin!

Christmas Eve brought the traditional opening of the pjs; Budding Jedi Knights!

And we all enjoyed a White Christmas. 2008 was a wonderful year full of so much to be grateful for.
