Throwing down some HEAT!

Firearms have taken a bit of a comical chapter in my adult life (note the subtle sarcasm).  Truly, I have nothing against guns.  In fact, the first time I went shooting I had a blast.  What an amazing feeling watching water-filled milk jugs burst apart!  My difficulty with guns is having them in a child-filled house and that is where I will leave things.
My husband loves guns.  I'm always impressed at his knowledge of guns and cars (many other things too).  When we have walked through gun shows with the boys or just together he is always teaching and explaining the difference between things that on the surface look the same to me.  He's a pretty impressive guy.  I'm glad I get to keep him!!

Recently we were able to go shooting together.  My first thought after the experience was that we needed to find an outdoor location so we wouldn't be charged an arm and a leg for an hour's worth of shooting!!  After that, I had to admit I had a smile on my face once again.  Believe it or not, The Big Guy Lowe actually was impressed with my "grouping" ability.  It always makes me happy when I can impress that guy.  :)
